Business Systems Analyst II/Senior Business Systems Analyst

Essential Duties & Responsibilities oWork with internal teams to design, develop and implement business initiatives.
oServe as a business focused liaison between business customer groups and IT.
oConsult with internal and external customers to define business needs and develop project proposals.
oCollaborate with IT to develop solution alternatives with an eye toward continuous improvement.
oPerform research and gather business requirements as needed to conduct the project scope definition process.
oDocument existing business processes and participate in process improvement projects.
oCollaborate with senior level PMO business systems analysis to assist in the development of solution alternatives that address identified business needs.
oAnalyze existing workflows and procedures for the development of new software as well as enhancing and maintaining existing software products.
oAnalyze business requirements from multiple sources and then determine areas of similarity and differences/gaps between programs.
oLead project teams with miscellaneous tasks such as testing and table configuration to help drive projects to completion.
Education Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in an Information Systems focused major is preferredAdditional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience 5 or more years of progressive experience in cross-functional business and/or systems analysis roleExperience with insurance and policy administration systems is preferredInsurance Industry experience is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge oProficient in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.
gOutlook, Word, Excel) to manage work.
oEffective problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze issues, find the root cause of the problem, and consider a wide range of alternatives before acting.
oDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or individuals.
oAbility to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility while maintaining attention to detail.
oDemonstrate excellent organizational skills.
oAbility to work independently and interact professionally and effectively in a team environment.
oDemonstrate excellent customer service skills by being able to follow directions and interpret customer needs.
oAbility to quickly and efficiently learn existing business procedures that utilize automated systems and to apply this knowledge to assist with both projects and operational support.
Salary Range $70,900 - $113,300/$77,300 - $123,500 AnnualActual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
