The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for the collection, evaluation, understanding, and communication of business requirements involved in the development of new or the modification and ongoing support of existing enterprise business applications. This person will provide guidance and direction to other business analysts, other teams, and may manage projects of significant scope and complexity. This position is the third of four levels within the Business Analysis job family.
1. Participates in system requirements definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of enterprise wide business
applications.
2. Solicits business requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing system documentation or procedures. Uses industry
standard analysis techniques to uncover business requirements, such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, and workflow
analysis.
3. Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates and tools, and be a key contributor in the definition of
what the appropriate templates and tools are.
4. Makes recommendations and influence outcome regarding necessary changes on deliverables expected from other groups.
5. Initiates and leads work with other development groups to ensure an integrated business solution.
6. Assumes the responsibility of project manager for projects where the scope is at a significant level of complexity. These projects
could be new initiatives or modifications to an existing application.
7. Represents enterprise business needs on project teams.
8. Demonstrates a clear understanding of FM Global's business and business processes.
9. Coordinates the efforts of other Business Analysts within assigned projects.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Expert knowledge of techniques and tools utilized in functional design, data analysis, and data flow diagramming.
Knowledge of FM Global''s current/planned technological environment and the appropriate technologies, tools, and techniques used
to solve business problems.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Advanced skills with all Office products (WORD, Excel, Access, Visio, etc)
Experience gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes.
Proven ability to work in technical environments that use tools involved in data flow diagramming, data analysis, issue tracking,
and documentation and presentation.
Proven experience with managing projects of significant scope and complexity with project teams consisting of 5
individuals.
SOFT SKILLS
Client Processing and Underwring knowledge a plus
Proven ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to provide direction to others and influence decisions made.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
