The primary focus of the HRIS analyst position is the support and maintenance of the worldwide HR Management System (HRMS) including security administration. This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts, ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. This position also provides training to new users. Supports the organization's needs for employee information and maintains confidentiality with access to and distribution of all data. Works closely with Information Systems and HR Functional areas to maintain the HRMS with upgrades, patches, tax updates, testing, functional specification writing and other technical projects as assigned. Responsible for addressing, troubleshooting and resolving service tickets logged by employees across the organization related to PeopleSoft HRMS. FM Global 's HR Department is currently evaluating new HR technology platforms and it is highly likely that this position will evolve from an on premise support role to a SaaS cloud based model which will modify the requirements of the position to be more strategic in nature.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3+ year's related HRIS/HRMS related experience required
PeopleSoft (9.0 or greater) HRMS experience (Benefits Admin, Time & Labor, Payroll, Security Administration)
SaaS HRMS solution experience highly preferred
Knowledge in PeopleSoft employee portal
Expert in PS query
Knowledge of HR disciplines including Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Staffing, Organizational Development, etc.
Advanced personal computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint)
Analytical thinking, problem solving, organizational skills, attention to details
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies
Effective written and oral communication skills
Strong facilitation and business requirements documentation skills
Results driven, customer focused team-oriented, ability to prioritize
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and individually

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
