With a large college-age population, Providence offers a vibrant arts and entertainment scene that includes local theatre and music, collegiate and minor league sporting events, and great restaurants in all price ranges.
Infrastructure Co-ops

Server:
As a co-op for the FM Global Server Application Services Team, you will have an opportunity to gain real world work experience by assisting in building servers, installing and maintaining the Windows operating system and core software components. This includes, but is not limited to, system monitoring, security and virus protection products, server-based network services, and backup and restore software.

Network:
As a co-op for the FM Global Network Infrastructure Team, you will have an opportunity to gain real world work experience by assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of FM Global's data global network, including LAN, WAN and external connectivity to the internet. This role also supports the remote access infrastructure used for dial-up or cable/DSL access used by traveling employees.

Help Desk Support:
As a co-op for the FM Global Windows Client Technology team, you will have an opportunity to gain real world experience in providing technical support to our customers world wide. As a team member, your responsibilities will include working with customers via phone, email, messaging and resolving problem tickets; writing technical troubleshooting document with solutions to problems; monitoring the technical support forums and responding to customer queries, etc. This role specializes in performing and enabling remote technical support of FM Global software and solutions. Provides technical support assistance to customers using problem determination/problem source identification skills. Utilizes technical and negotiation skills in collaboration with other support operations/organizations to prioritize and diagnose problems to resolution.

Security:
As a co-op for the Security Architecture team, you will be responsible for facilitating the third-party evaluation and reporting on critical infrastructure and application security controls used throughout the enterprise. This role would be the primarily liaison between the vendor, implementation
teams, and management and assist the team in promoting the awareness of technology-based risk management.
Successful candidates should be prepared to show that they are:
- Enrolled in a Computer Science, IT or MIS degree program
- Have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized, detail oriented and analytical

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
